BLUE SKY HEALING HOME

The Family Learning House has a comitted relationship to Blue Sky Healing Home, a small private medical foster home for orphans located in the same community as our Shunyi campus. Since 2006, The Family Learning House has provided full scholarships for one child at Blue Sky's Blossom House to attend each of our learning communities.

Teachers from The Family Learning House volunteer their time to work with the caregivers at Blue Sky helping to impliment Montessori and Moral Education concepts to create a peaceful and purposeful home environment for the orphans who cannot leave the home due to severe medical concerns.

The unique medical needs of Blue Sky Healing Home prevent children under twelve from visiting the centre, however, we encourage parents with older children to contact Blue Sky Healing home to offer any type of service. When we host The Family Learning House social events we extend invitations to our entire school community including the children from Blue Sky Healing Home and Blossom House.
