Spring Fair
May 19th, 2012
Join us for a day of family fun on Saturday, May 19th, from 10:00am until 1:00pm. There will be lots of entertainment, games, face painting, a bake sale and more! Tickets for all activities will be sold at the entrance of the Unity Garden with proceeds going to Our Learning House for orphans. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Pancake Breakfast
and Pajama Day

Parents joined students at The Family Learning House for "Pancake Breakfast and Pajama Day". Together with their families, everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast and some fun quality time, while wearing their favorite cozy pajamas. All proceeds will benefit Our Learning House.

3rd Annual "Starry Starry Night" Piano Recital
February 29 and March 1, 2012
On February 29th and March 1st 2012 The Family Learning House held its 3rd annual Starry Night Piano Recital. It was a sparkling evening of classical music and candlelight, courtesy of 50 of our five- to six-year-old students who played beautifully for an audience of family, friends, and staff.

Chinese New Year
Free Dress Day for Charity
January 20th, 2012
Every month we designate a themed free dress day inspired by our monthly cultural/learning topics, seasonal celebrations or other special events. On this day, children come specially dressed and each child offers 10RMB to our donation box, proceeds of which benefit local charities.

Winter Wonderland

To greet the new winter season, the students and teachers created decorations for the school during an arts and crafts day. The entrance and hallways of The Family Learning House were transformed into a spectacular winter scene. What better way to finish a day like that than to bake cookies?

United Nations Day
Children's Celebraton Parade
October 27th, 2011
United Nations Day is a special day for our multi-national student body. On this day children dress up in traditional clothing from their home country, make flags from around the world, and parade through the school. UN Day is an exhibition of our diverse backgrounds as well as a showcase of our united spirit.

Family Sports Day

Our annual TFLH Family Sports Day brings together children, parents, and staff in a fun, non-competitive morning of outdoor activities and games. TFLH Family Sports Day is held at the campus of Daystar Academy.

Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

On the 15th day of the eight month of the Chinese Lunar calendar, we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. All families are welcome to come to TFLH for a night of performances, Chinese crafts, food and, of course, mooncakes!
